If the female parent is the species' normal form (including in a Ditto pairing) and holds an Everstone, and if the offspring is in the same family as that parent, then the offspring will hatch as the normal form. When breeding Pokémon whose offspring has a regional form, the offspring's form depends on its parents. Regional forms are referred to depending on their region of origin for example, the form of Marowak primarily seen in Alola is simply called "Alolan Marowak".
Certain regional forms are even capable of evolving in ways that other forms can't, either through additional stages to a line that was seemingly complete or by outright replacing known evolutions. As such, many things may be different about them, from their appearance and way of living to even their type, moves, Abilities, base stats, height, and weight.
